COMMUNITY INVESTMENT
We are committed to strengthening relationships and investing in the communities in which we live and work. Therefore, our efforts are directed at supporting programs that are closely connected to our business; from working with charities that encourage young people to study science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) subjects and thereafter to pursue careers in engineering and technology.
Ambassador
Ambassador program was launched in January 2020, and it is in cooperation with Al-Faisal Schools, during which we offer a number of lectures to students in areas that help them design and plan their professional future.
University Collaboration Programme
We have a university collaboration program that was launched in 2015 with 6 Saudi universities, which are King Saud University, Al-Faisal, Princess Noura, Taif, Tabuk, and King Fahd Petroleum and Minerals University in Dhahran. In this program, we present a number of lectures for engineering students by our experts in the company. We also offer awards to students with outstanding and creative graduation projects.
Charities
Cooperation with the Bunyan Charitable Society, preparing training rooms and providing training programs for needy families to help them obtain job opportunities.
SMSCMC is also cooperating with the Bena Association for Orphan Care in the Eastern Province, and has presented an initiative that support orphaned children with their school supplies.
